Award winning band Loose Ends featuring Carl Macintosh who found global fame with chart-topper ‘Hangin’ On A String’ will headline a prestigious black tie launch and fundraiser as rape, child abuse and domestic violence charity, Who Will Hear My Cry, attracts leading names and celebrity support

On October 8th, in the prestigious setting of Gibson Hall in London, Who Will Hear My Cry are set to host their official launch and fundraiser.

Who Will Hear My Cry founder, Dilys Sillah wishes to show her public commitment in supporting victims of abuse and to celebrate survivors and their journeys. On the evening, WWHMC are aiming to showcase the vast headway they have made in raising awareness in hard to reach groups. Sillah believes that creating the right atmosphere is key in getting young people, communities, families and religious leaders engaged and interested in addressing such difficult topics.

With a champagne reception, canapes, and a sit-down meal courtesy of King Solomon Caterers, the evening will end with world renowned DJ to the stars, Nickie ‘Cartel’ Duku. Also included in the line-up is a fashion show by leading designers and music by world-renowned soul band, Hill St. Soul. Also joining the line up on the night is international speaker and Domestic Abuse interventionist Dr. Diahanne Rhiney, Founder of Strength With In Me Foundation (S.W.I.M) and Leroy Logan MBE, former Superintendent at the Metropolitan Police Service who is the Founder and Chair of the Black Police Association Charitable Trust (BPACT).

Loose Ends was a globally successful British R&B band that had several hits. They achieved their first success with "Hangin' on a String (Contemplating)" in 1985, which reached #13 in the UK chart."Hangin' on a String" also reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart, making Loose Ends the first British band ever to top that chart. They reached #16 with the single "Magic Touch" in the same year. They have been confirmed as the evening’s headline act.
There will be an auction and raffle taking place throughout the evening giving attendees the chance to win some exciting prizes, and to support the work of Who Will Hear My Cry.

WWHMC will be fundraising on the night to help the furtherance of the work WWHMC will be initiating in schools; the 'I Wear Blue' campaign which will launch in April and their continued support work for victims of domestic violence, rape and abuse.
