Refugees Welcome Autumn Fayre

A day to celebrate and show your support for refugees in Islington, London. Join us to listen to live music from around the world and engaging speakers; enjoy delicious food from Ethiopia; take part in actions in support of refugees and get involved in interactive and virtual reality activities all designed to raise awareness about the refugee crisis.

Declare your support for refugees in the run-up to the big London Refugees Welcome march on 17 September and the UN Conference on 19. Get your placard ready!

Najm al-Dulaimi, singer from Deir ez-Zor, Syria
Diabel Cissokho, Senegalese Kora player and singer, who has just released his fourth album, Tambacounda Express
Juliet Stevenson, actress and campaigner
Kate Allen, Director of Amnesty International UK
Elleni Jean Kempson, a young British musician who was raised on the Greek Island of Lesvos, where she and her parents are supporting thousands of refugees arriving there on boats, fleeing conflict in Syria and other countries.
