Hazey Jane are an English folk-indie quintet from London. Hackney based, harmony driven and easily confused, the band are indebted to Nick Drake, CSNY and John Prine. From such artists, Hazey Jane have derived their own bona fide craft of songmanship, exhibited most poignantly throughout their recent live EP. Recorded at Total Refreshment Studios, Dalston, and produced by band confidant Mr Sander Van Laere, this modest collection of songs represents a departure from studio based precision and rather lays bare the musicality that Hazey Jane are all about.
