Bermondsey Street Festival 2016

It’s less than a week to go until Saturday the 17th of September for the 10th annual Bermondsey Street Festival! One of London’s most established and individual multi-arts and hospitality festivals. We are pleased to confirm an array of acts and stall holders across the day in the lively location of Bermondsey Street SE1.

With it being the 10th year Bermondsey Street Festival is held, rest assured it is going to be their best yet. Every year in the heart of South London, a vibrant and unique community comes together to celebrate local surrounding shops, galleries, businesses, restaurants and bars.

With its close proximity to London Bridge and Borough Market, the free festival encourages its locals and their guests to come down to enjoy the entertainment, al fresco dining and quality craft beers. With over 20 local restaurants and bars bringing their offerings to the festival for everyone to enjoy. Cuisine from local favourites such as Village East, Tanner & Co. and The Rose.

Artists, musicians, dancers, actors and fashionistas will present their work and talents across a vast range of stages on the streets amongst all of the main action. The inevitably popular mid-afternoon dog show will be taking place in the leather market garden, kindly organised by the ever popular pooch people Holly & Lil.

Every year, in the heart of London, a bustling community that surrounds Bermondsey Street gathers together for its annual Festival. With the Street and surrounding roads traffic-free for the day, the area becomes a magical place where people smile as they taste food provided at stalls from local restaurants, they can try their hand at dancing, watch performances, join in antics with the unicorn children's theatre, see jugglers and clowns,see the gorgeous dog show and marvel at the chic fashion show.
