A service marking the work of the 'Traidcraft' charity who are dedicated to fighting poverty through fair trade. After the service finishes, there will be a 'traidcraft' stall available for purchases.

Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir sing at St James's Church on the second Sunday of each month, and at Farm Street Church in Mayfair on the last Sunday of the month. The choir have been singing gospel music for over 10 years and have been featured on Radio 2, as well as various festivals in the UK. They are committed to sharing their expertise and have resources available to groups wanting to sing gospel music and start their own choirs.

The service will take place at St James's church, which is located only a minute's walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo line, and only 5 minutes walk from Green Park Underground Station which is served by the Jubilee and Victoria line.

St James's Church is part of the Church of England and welcomes people of all faiths and none. It is a beautiful, spacious and light church designed by Sir Christopher Wren over 300 years ago after the great fire of London. It is decorated with the carvings of Grinling Gibbons, and has been home over the centuries to many great English thinkers, preachers and musicians. The church is active in social actions issues such as housing and supporting refugees,

This service is part of a rolling programme of Sunday evening services known as ‘Sundays at Six’. The service lasts about one hour and is completely free. Why not combine your trip to St James's with a visit to a museum or art gallery?
