The festival is the City’s only celebration of Italian culture, and will bring together a culinary and sensory tour of the regions through the most authentic Italian delicacies not commonly found in restaurants and gourmandises outside of Italy. The richly assorted gastronomical selections from eight Italian regions will be housed in the inflatable pop-up “Duomo delle Delicatezze” – Dome of delicacies, in Devonshire Square’s stunning avenue.

The vibrant mix of both savoury and sweet foods will showcase dishes from Sardinia, Sicily, Campania, Liguria, Apulia, Calabria, Tuscany and Lazio. These will include 20 different kinds of homemade lasagne, specialty chocolate, liquors made from lemons, the finest caught tuna, and organic cheeses to name a few of the temptations.

During the lunch hour the festival will be set to a backdrop of Italian music by artists such as internationally acclaimed tenor Yuri Sabatini, swing singer Chris Vinante with the Tony P. Riccio Trio, dramatic tenor Yannis Hadjopulos, as well as a tribute to the iconic Italian singer Mina by vocalist Laura Araldo.

Owing to recent tragic events in Italy there will be a collection in support of the Italian Earthquake appeal throughout the duration of the festival.
