The Incredibly Strange Film Band, purveyors of film and TV soundtrack funk, return to the London stage with a three night tour at the Half Moon Putney (6 Oct), Kings Head, Crouch End (7 Oct) and What's Cookin', Leytonstone (8 Oct).

This 10 piece line-up includes a full brass section, percussion and its own diva to perform Shirley Bassey anthems such as Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever and the more contemporary Propellerheads theme, once used for the Graham Norton Show.

Expect a large helping of Lalo Schifrin (Mission Impossible, Enter the Dragon), Shaft, various Bond, Quincy Jones (Austin Powers theme); from Captain Scarlet to the more obscure Mysterons theme; from the ultra-complex original Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 theme to the ultra-uncomplex Sesame Street, rounded off with the ISFB take on the 2001 and Morecambe & Wise themes.

Now beyond their 20th year, the Incredibly Strange Film Band is a regular on the corporate entertainment circuit, has performed at Glastonbury and the Big Chill, plus other leading festivals, and for more than 10 years was house band for the annual British Independent Film Awards.
This three night mini-Tour will be a rare opportunity to see the band perform live in London and the opportunity to hear deeply ingrained music that you just wouldn’t normally get to hear, especially up-close and intimate in the confines of a pub/club venue.
