Signet Contemporary Gallery celebrates the launch of Paul Treasure’s solo show. ‘We’re really excited to be hosting Paul’s solo show," Salt of the Earth" 27th October- 15th November

Paul’s interpretations of the English landscape reveal his response to the ever-changing seasons, weather and light. ‘I particularly love this time of year when we’re transitioning from summer to autumn,’ Paul enthuses. His bold use of palette knife, brush strokes and mixed media result in distinctive mark-making which culminates in vigorous, textured landscapes. ‘My works are inspired by the joy and splendour of life,’ he says simply. Indeed, his art beautifully captures the feeling and emotion of a place, while depicting the interplay between light, land, water and sky.

Signet Contemporary Gallery has been garnering tremendous attention and sell- out shows for Paul at its gallery as well as at international art fairs, including Dubai and Tokyo. ‘His expressive abstract and colourful contemporary style work well for collectors,’ Signe says. ‘And who doesn’t appreciate a dramatic landscape?’ Perhaps unsurprisingly, Paul Treasure is proving to be the gallery’s most popular artist. ‘I love his vibrant use of colour, his contemporary style and the fact that you can still recognise the English landscapes that he interprets. His paintings are real showstoppers on the King’s Road.’
