Jeremy is a powerful and highly impressive drummer, who is equally at home playing pop, rock, funk or straight ahead jazz. Jeremy’s CV is vast, including work with the likes of Tom Jones, The Finn Brothers, Madeleine Peyroux, Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Echo and the Bunnymen, Jason Rebello… The regular drummer with American icon Sheryl Crow for over 7 years, Jeremy has just finished touring the world (twice) with his friend Noel Gallagher’s “High Flying Birds” and is currently on tour with the iconic band King Crimson... you get the idea, he's very good! An old friend of the Club Jeremy has, however, found time in his busy schedule to put together a great New York style contemporary Jazz group, something he has been doing here at the 606 on a regular basis for more than 20 years. One of the most respected drummers of his generation Jeremy’s gigs are always guaranteed to be both exciting and of the very highest musicianship. For his performance this evening Jeremy's Special Guest will be US piano star Henry Hey. A leading light of the New York scene since the late 90's, Henry's cv reads like a Who's Who of Jazz and popular music, including work with the likes of Bill Evans (sax), Jeff "Tain" Watts, Bill Bruford, Rod Stewart (MD), Dione Warwick and George Michael (MD). He is also an established composer, songwriter and arranger in his own right, with his own music being heard on films, television shows and numerous jazz and pop albums. And to give some idea of the level at which he works, he is currently in London as the Musical Director of the new David Bowie show "Lazarus", having written all the arrangements for the show himself! Taking time out from his busy schedule to work with his friend Jeremy it is a great pleasure to welcome this wonderful musician to the Club this evening. This promises to be a fabulous night of music, so expect something very special! Booking definitely advised.

“Stacey…a fine…drummer with an infectious feel. His gigs are ...invariably enlivened by some top class guests” Time Out; "Henry Hey...a pianist of refined technique and sensibility...an elite member of the modern-day fraternity of the piano" AllAboutJazz
