The UnScene: Volume 1

On Wednesday, November 2nd, the UnScene Volume 1 is coming to Nambucca.

We are a group of London bands and musicians making our own music scene.

This is our art and we are taking control of it.

We are not taking back an underground music scene - we are creating our own. We want a scene where bands can flourish. The band should not be an after-thought. Too many promoters have been taking all the profits and doing none of the work, ripping off bands through pay-to-play and leaving it to the bands to do all the work promoting, organising and putting on a great performance.The one thing that they have done? Proved that we do not need them.

We have been gigging in London since 2006 and now are combining our experience and sharing the workload to create nights that work:
• Proceeds will go to those who do the work
• There will be high quality of sound
• The bands on the bill will sound good playing together
