National charity Music Venue Trust has announced a one-off evening of music in a bid to raise vital funds to stop music venue closures across the country, threatening the future of live music . The gig will take place at The Roundhouse, London on Tuesday 18 October 7pm with artists including Everything Everything, Public Service Broadcasting, Ed Harcourt and Jake Issac. Launched as an emergency response on 16 September, the concert went on sale with no acts confirmed, yet managed to attract 800 offers of support. To showcase all this interest, FIGHTBACK will take place across three stages, filling the Roundhouse with live music delivered by UK album chart toppers, festival headliners, Ivor Novello award winners and some of the very best new and emerging talent the UK has to offer. The full final line-up includes: Everything Everything, Public Service Broadcasting, Ed Harcourt, Jake Issac, The Leisure Society, Recreations & Magnetic South, The Spitfires, Rory Butler, The Wholls, Awate, Judas, Billy Lockett, The Carnabys, Sisteray, Soma, Samantha Whates & The Chaps Choir, Bang Bang Romeo, Hannah Lou Clark and London Contemporary Orchestra. Ticket booking for FIGHTBACK are available on the Roundhouse's website with the remaining tickets priced at £30.00.
