Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra's new series English Radicals – Music of Progress and Transformation features works by composers who have pushed boundaries and challenged traditions.
Holst’s ballet suite from his opera The Perfect Fool, a new piece from Benjamin Pearson and Oliver Knussen’s lyrical Horn Concerto paves the way for a performance of Michael Tippett’s exuberant Symphony No.1, which he began to sketch in prison in 1943 while serving time as a conscientious objector.
