Escape Studios is calling all aspiring VFX Film Makers for the Studio’s First Ever 72-Hour Film Project #Escape72Hours

Unleash your creativity with Escape Studio’s first ever 72-Hour Film Project #Escape72Hours from Friday 28th – Sunday 31st October.

The 72-Hour Film Project is the first of its kind from Escape Studios, allowing budding filmmakers to let their imagination run wild and create their own VFX inspired short film. #Escape72Hours will be hosted virtually with all details announced via the official webpage.

By entering the competition teams will have the chance to win a fantastic prize package, including:
• An exclusive premiere screening of their winning film to key industry names at Escape Studios, The VFX Festival 2017
• Interview in influential specialist film media outlet , 3D Artist
• Exclusive masterclass with Escape Studios expert tutor
• Access to the latest technology at Escape Studios facilities to improve their film

Top industry names and representatives from Escape Studios will judge the films. Including VFX supervisor Steve Begg, who has over thirty years experience supervising the visual effects on films such as 'Casino Royale', 'Skyfall', 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' and most recently 'Spectre'. Alongside Steve will sit a representative from Deluxe’s Rushes, an award winning international VFX Company, also known for their work on Spectre. From top film publication, and partner of the competition, we have Editor of 3D Artist, Stephen Holmes. Finally, from Escape Studios, industry experts Anita Gribble and Andrew Brassington will also be judging the entries.

The Escape Studios Film Project 2016 will run for 72 hours between 12:00 noon Friday 28th October to 11:00am on Monday 31st October.

All entries must be submitted before 11:00am on Monday 31st October. Only films submitted before the deadline will be officially part of the competition.
