The Poetry Hour, an evening devoted to the beautiful poetry of W H Auden at The British Library on Thursday 27th October, will this year be hosted by Melvyn Bragg and feature readings from special guests, actors Lily James and Joanna David.

The Poetry Hour was set up by Josephine Hart, novelist, producer and wife of Maurice Saatchi, before she sadly passed away in 2011, her hope was to inspire as many people with poetry as she could.

Poetry enthusiasts will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to hear W H Auden’s poems read aloud to an audience of 500.

One final special guest is yet to be announced.
