Marco Pierre White unveils new cookbook at Wheeler’s Oyster Bar & Grill Room

The Godfather of British cuisine, Marco Pierre White, will be visiting his Wheeler’s Oyster Bar & Grill Room for the launch of his latest cookbook, Essentially Marco.

Guests at Wheeler’s Oyster Bar & Grill Room, located on Threadneedle Street in Bank, will be able to get their cooking tips straight from the man himself, as Marco visits the restaurant on Thursday 27th October.

As well as receiving a signed copy of the book, guests will be treated to a delicious three-course meal, featuring dishes from Essentially Marco, for just £55 per head.

The book, which Marco describes as being “perfect for the home cook”, is yet to be released in the UK, meaning guests will be some of the first to get their hands on the new book.

Recently launched in the UAE, White’s book takes a step back from the haute cuisine that saw him make a name for himself, and draws on generous food made for sharing around the dinner table, including some of his comfort food favourites and restaurant classics.

Sharing his unique know-how, culinary wisdom, and heaps of cooking tips and tricks, Marco serves a feast of easy-to-make dishes, stripping away the time-consuming elements of professional cooking.
