A double bill of jazz from Trinity Laban’s Jazz Choir and Jazz Ensemble.

The first part features Trinity Laban's Jazz Choir, directed by internationally acclaimed jazz choral director and composer Pete Churchill. Expect to hear folk music, some gospel, some soul and more besides. With a choir of thirty and a great band in tow, Trinity Laban Jazz Choir is sure to raise the roof.

In the second part of the evening, Trinity Laban Jazz Ensemble and vocalists explore the spirit of the blues, in a variety of blues based arrangements from the 1930s to 1960s and beyond. To include music by Count Basie, Charles Mingus, Thelonius Monk, Horace Silver, Bob Brookmeyer, Thad Jones, Slide Hampton and Don Sebesky.
