Macmillan Cancer Support invites you to attend its prestigious Guards Chapel Christmas Carol Concert this year on Thursday 8 December. Hosted by Macmillan Vice President, Martyn Lewis CBE, the soiree will include readings from a variety of Macmillan’s celebrity supporters, such as Vanessa Redgrave, Mary Beard and Ed Stourton, as well as music from some of the classical world’s most talented stars.

The perfect way to kick off the Christmas season, performers will include cellists Guy Johnston and Sheku Kanneh-Mason who have both been named BBC Young Musicians of the Year, in 2000 and 2016 respectively. Trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin-Vary will also perform for guests in the beautiful setting of the Guards Chapel, as well as the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Band of the Scots Guards.

The audience will also be invited to join the Royal Military Chapel Choir in singing festive carols.

The concert is followed by the opportunity to enjoy champagne and canapés in the Officers’ Mess after the evening’s entertainment.

One of the most prestigious events in Macmillan’s annual calendar, the evening is sponsored by BMO Global Asset Management and all funds raised will be used to help Macmillan ensure that no one faces cancer alone this Christmas.

Tickets for this magical evening start at just £40.
