Fantastic Mr Fox returns to Harrow

This year Harrow Choral Society welcomes actor James Fox as guest reader at its traditional Christmas Concert in Harrow School Speech Room on Saturday 17th December. A member of the famous theatrical family which includes his brother Edward, niece Emila and son Laurence, James Fox will be well-known to audience members from his film and TV work. As an Old Harrovian, James (Fox?) will be on familiar territory in the Speech Room which each year provides a uniquely atmospheric backdrop to the festivities. To add to the sense of occasion, Harrow Choral Society will also be marking 25 successful years under the baton of conductor Simon Williams.

James Fox is the latest in a series of distinguished readers at the Christmas Concert, which has included Patricia Hodge, Alison Steadman and Timothy West. Traditionally the guest reader is invited to nominate a charity to receive the proceeds of a retiring collection and this year James Fox has chosen the Kenton branch of St Luke’s Hospice.
