The Candlelight Club: Christmas by Candlelight

A clandestine 1920s speakeasy party in a secret London venue completely lit by candles, with live jazz bands, cabaret and retro-DJs. The bar dispenses vintage cocktails and the kitchens offer a fine-dining set menu and bar snacks.

Like a lot of folk in the 1920s, we're not about to let Prohibition spoil Christmas! So we'll be celebrating the season of goodwill by candlelight at a secret party where the jingling of sleigh bells will mingle with the clinking of cocktail glasses, where for one night the cop and the gangster will lay down their Tommy guns and share a toast, where the Prohibition Agent holds back from smashing that barrel of whisky and the corrupt politician, his heart softened by that third Martini, decides to donate this month's kickback to the orphanage.

At our tinsel-toned special we'll invite you to jive, shimmy and Lindy Hop around our Christmas tree, to the ragtime Yuletide stylings of Candlelight favourites the Shirt Tail Stompers playing live for your dancing pleasure. Your host for the evening will be that impish impresario Champagne Charlie, and there will be vintage vinylism from DJ Auntie Maureen. Let the music play and the bootleg liquor flow!

Tables may be reserved for an additional fee. Guests receive an email two days before, revealing the secret location.
