Mac & Wild's Winter Pop Up In The City

This winter Scottish game, seafood and whisky champions, Mac & Wild will launch a pop up in the heart of the City on Devonshire Square, just a stone’s throw from London’s Liverpool Street Station. Following the success of their first permanent site in Great Titchfield Street, Mac & Wild City will launch just in time for Christmas and is set to be this winter’s destination hotspot. The pop-up will feature a large heated winter terrace, 110 cover restaurant and a dedicated late night whisky bar open until 2am.

Staying true to their roots, the menu at Mac & Wild City will feature their award winning Veni-moo burger and venison chateaubriand, while also welcoming new dishes such as suckling pig, rare breed hogget and buckets of Scottish langoustine. The downstairs bar will feature a dedicated bar menu with whisky nuts, venison scotch eggs, Scottish sausage rolls and charcuterie.

Mac & Wild are a dynamic team, having fun cooking and promoting Scottish game and seafood, whilst remaining true to their field to fork roots. Founded by Andy Waugh, who hails from just north of Inverness, all of their meat is sourced and then butchered with care by his family’s game-butchering business, which has been in existence for over 30 years.

Mac & Wild City will be celebrating the Christmas season with a seasonal spread of delicious Scottish delicacies. In keeping with tradition, venison will feature heavily on the menu providing a tasty alternative to turkey that is packed with protein and low in cholesterol. The fantastic festive menu will also offer a dessert fit for Santa Clause himself, the Mac & Wild Trifle containing their very own pre-bottled Mac & Wild whisky cocktail within it and also a wee dram on the side. For those who fancy a bit of bird, Mac & Wild’s very special Christmas burger features delicious confit-fried turkey with creamy brie, homemade cranberry sauce, bacon and Scottish venison. Move over turkey sandwiches, the Mac & Wild Turkey deluxe has arrived.

The pop-up venue will play host to multiple experiences and events including a shooting simulator room, where guests can transport themselves to a shoot in the highlands, haggis making masterclasses and chocolate and whisky pairing sessions.
