In time for the festive season, Bookatable, Europe’s largest restaurant booking platform has joined forces with gastro-physicist, Professor Charles Spence and Swedish music producer Axel Boman to create the first Musical Menus Festival from 27th November 2016.

Showcasing the effect that music can have on a diner’s experience, the Musical Menus Festival will put diners’ senses to the test by highlighting how sound can affect the taste of food in the shape of bespoke musical menus.

Taking diners on a sensory journey that will transport their restaurant experience to the top of the charts, these special playlists have been created to be in perfect tune with the menus on offer exemplifying how music can in fact influence a diner’s eating experience and the way certain flavours taste.

To experience this unique offering for themselves, food and music lovers are invited to book tickets for the Musical Menus Festival via Bookatable at the following restaurants across London:

• The Musical Menus Festival will be running from Monday 27th November until 11th December 2016

• Customers can book tickets to sample the experience at one of five restaurants taking part from 27th November
