Join us as we turn back the clock to enjoy a wholesome, all-singing, all-dancing festive evening of retro fun and yuletide frolicking … with a Beggar’s Banquet peppering of partying revelry, of course.

Show us your best charades moves as we take each other on playing games, singing carols and generally getting raucous and merry over mountains of food and lashings of Port. Dust off your finest vintage dresses, suits, gloves, plumage, fur trimmings…or don your most fantastically embarrassing Christmas jumper to dance the night away with our live music and DJs. All are welcome at the family Christmas party to end all family Christmas parties!

Prizes awarded for ‘most finely turned out’ and ‘best/worst Christmas jumper’.

DRESS UP IDEAS: Think Norman Rockwell Christmas cards, Vera Ellen in White Christmas, and that hideous lumpy Christmas jumper you have to dig out every year in order not to offend Auntie June.

3 COURSE BANQUET + CANAPES
Over 70% of the food we serve on the night is salvaged surplus, but don't worry, we're not dressing up a banana peel from a skip. All the food we get our hands on has been diverted from large markets or packing houses before it reaches the shops or supermarkets. It's then cooked up by some of East London's most exciting young chefs creating an opulent feast of culinary mastery not to be missed!

THE CHEFS
Charlton Nicoll or 'Champagne Charlie' has spent the last nine years creating culinary artistry in restaurants, festivals and pop-ups after qualifying from Leiths and completed his Diploma in food and wine with distinction. He's now working on his first cookbook celebrating the joy of brunch.

Tom Fletcher has always been around food, cooking breakfasts from a young age at his family run B&B. After a move to London to pursue his academic credentials gaining a degree in business and masters in food waste, Tom returned to the kitchen with a passion for saving food waste. He founded Rejuce, a social business that saves surplus from landfill by transforming it into nutritious fruit juice, and has been working as a food waste campaigner and chef since then.
