This year marks the 10th John Lewis’ Christmas advert and in honour of this special milestone, John Lewis have teamed up with LEGO Certified Professionals, Bright Bricks to create five iconic scenes from the past five adverts entirely made out of LEGO.

The five intricate scenes took seven expert LEGO builders 116 hours to construct, and comprise a staggering 9,400 bricks in total. The adverts include:

• 2012: The Journey – 1,800 bricks, 18 hours
• 2013: The Bear and the Hare – 2,400 bricks, 20 hours
• 2014: Monty the Penguin – 2,300 bricks, 22 hours
• 2015: Man on the Moon – 1,700 bricks, 33 hours
• 2016: Buster the Boxer – 1,200 bricks, 23 hours

The models are displayed next to the Buster The Boxer garden which using VR allows you to experience the advert for yourself, alongside the animals featured in the advert. At the end, you're given a ticket with a code to download your own experience on the store’s website.
