Olandra

Olandra is a music project by Ola Wozniak: a vocalist, singer, songwriter and music producer, girl partial to pianos and guitars. Ola's music is a counterproposal to what we usually hear on popular radio stations. It's not easily cathegorised, for it picks up on different genres such as acoustic music, folk, indie pop but also jazz and neoclassical dark wave. Music journalists compared Olandra to such vocalists as Regina Spektor or Kate Bush. Olandra proves that music doesn't have to be "big and loud", for sometimes less means more. As emotion and authenticism are most important to her, she tries to write in such a way that her music could "move the listener's soul".Olandra played in various, renown Warsaw venues such as Chłodna 25, Wypieki Kultury, Towarzyska. With her strings duo she performed during the international series of concerts Sofar Sounds (Warsaw) and supported Julia Marcell in a prestigious club Blue Note in Poznan.

”What does 'slow' in music mean? It is presented nicely by Ola Wozniak, who slows down in such a beautiful manner, that it is impossible not to believe in honesty of her songs.” musicis

”(…) vocal, grandpiano and a dangerous concentration of beauty per second.” FDK

”Olandra's pieces are extraordinary. Melancholic vocal and subtle piano seems an excellent combination, which enables Ola to create truely remarkable, poetical compositions (…) Olandra's vocal is far above mediocrity. Very moving, sublime and and affective. In a companion of such a voice you want to spend long, winter evenings.” Swallowing the decibles

”I am sure this girl is gonna be heard of. In the moment Ola studies in Warsaw, but what she does in free time knocks out. Or - as I like to write sometimes about music– transfers us in a compeletly different space.” Zapętlone

Hazey Jane
Hazey Jane are an English folk-indie quartet from London. Hackney based, harmony driven and easily confused, the band are indebted to Nick Drake, CSNY and John Prine. From such artists, Hazey Jane have derived their own bona fide craft of songmanship, exhibited most poignantly throughout their recent EP, 'Us on a Wire'. Recorded at Urchin Studios, Dalston, and produced by band confidants Mr Sander Van Laere (Michael Kiwanuka) and the right honourable Marcel Van Limbeek (Tori Amos).

“Us On A Wire is a phenomenal first offering, brilliantly laying bare the sincerity of Hazey Jane's writing” - Middle Tennessee Music

“What matters in Folk music is the story and Hazey Jane deliver that in spades” - Ear To The Ground Music

“Soft, honest and intimate. Great record” - Dansende Beren
