Stampex is the UK’s largest philatelic show, exhibiting a masterful presentation of stamps from some of the biggest names in philately with over 100 philatelic dealers and specialists from across the globe. It is organised by The Philatelic Traders’ Society Limited and is sponsored by Stanley Gibbons. The Spring 2017 show will once again take place at its permanent venue, The Business Design Centre (BDC) in Islington from 15th-18th February.

Stampex provides a unique opportunity to collectors and stamp enthusiasts of all ages to view rare collections on display. One of the exhibitors is Royal Mail who annually showcase their Post & Go Services. Entry to the exhibition is free and all who visit may purchase a show-specific Smilers Sheet, made in conjunction with Stanley Gibbons, and receive a free show guide and Postcard which are highly collectable pieces and make lovely keepsakes and souvenirs. As the exhibition falls during half term, this will be a fantastic day out for families, enabling them to enjoy the show together. There is also a child-friendly auction on Saturday 18 February presented by Stamp Active Network, the youth philately organisation.
