Three leaders in their fields discuss the discoveries that their joint explorations have uncovered. The cultural historian Jerry Brotton has collaborated widely with Adam Lowe, head of artist workshop Factum Arte. Amongst other projects they have re-envisaged the Hereford Mappa Mundi as a 3D facsimile and used digital data of the ocean’s floor to create a completely different world map. Both have also worked with Grayson Perry, one of Britain’s best known artists, who has used maps widely in his tapestries, ceramics and graphics.
