Not So Secret Society (Cabaret Variety)

London's newest cabaret variety night, taking place in a funky pop-up art gallery in Artworks UK right next to Elephant & Castle Station.

Anyone who wants can just rock up on the night, entry is free and non-ticketed. Select super-cheap drinks will be sold in the venue on the night and there is also a bar just next door in the complex.

The night will be hosted by London's premier Mentalist Ben Dali who will introduce a wide variety of top class cabaret acts and comedians with his special brand of humour interspersed with unbelievable mind reading feats. We've got a phenomenal headliner for our first event, the one and only Elf Lyons!

What great launch night is complete without a great headliner? We're proud to introduce the eccentric comedy fierceness of highly established circuit headline, award winning Edinburgh Fringe sell-out superstar Elf to the Mental Cabaret.
Elf has performed all around the world at leading arts festivals - sometimes dressed as an astronaut, a horse, a shark, or naked.
Known for her distinctive alternative style on stage - described as 'a more focused Eddie Izzard' by Chortle and "Hilariously brave" by British VOGUE - Elf loves creating work that is relevant, political and joyful. She mixes her vulnerabilities, her obscure geeky knowledge and her sass to create fun, action packed quests for her and the audience, often resulting in a huge fun mess on stage.

BEN DALI
Top London-based Hypnotist and Mind Reader Ben Dali will be your compere for the night, and dazzle you with a range of Mentalism effects you simply have to see to believe. Edinburgh Festival fans may know Ben best from his hypnosis show 'Strictly Come Trancing'. Or perhaps you'll recgonize him from a starring roll on Take Me Out this year. Or maybe you haven't heard of him at all, in which case you've been missing out your whole life.

THE MARTINI ENCOUNTER
Enter the jaded and threadbare world of Binkie, Maud, Muffy and Colin aka The Martini Encounter. Never refined but always eccentric, this naughty and flamboyant quartet celebrate their former ‘careers’ in what could very loosely be described as ‘showbiz’ basking in glorious vocal close-harmony singing and a frequently surprising cocktail of mischievous repartee and banging toons ranging

JOJO BELLINI
High quality Cabaret artist and creator of delicious meals. Jo-Jo performs at festivals and events around the UK and the world! Fresh from a successful debut run at Edinburgh 2016 Jojo's shining stage presence and powerful vocals make her a cabaret force to be reckoned with.

MISSY PHILLIPS
One of the hottest and most sought after of London's cabaret scene, the multi-talented Missy Phillips performs everything from burlesque to pole-dancing to live fire-eating. What she brings to Mental Cabaret is anyone's guess, all we know is it's gonna be super entertaining and damn sexy.

CHANEL & THE CIRCUS
Straight in from Los Angeles, up and coming cabaret diva Chanel Samson will set the show alight with her sexy voice and anecodatal songs that always leaves her audiences wanting more

KANE & ABEL
27 years ago, Kane and Abel both successfully escaped their mothers' womb, since then they have traveled the world performing magic and escapology. They perform award winning sleight of hand like no other magician, taking full advantage of having double the limbs of any other performer.

MAT BROOKS
