Join New York-based artist Tschabalala Self for an insightful discussion. Self has created an intriguing group of works in painting, printmaking and sculpture that show evidence of being influenced by the fractured vision of Cubism and use materials, such as paint, fabric and paper. These diverse materials allow Self to shift the content and meaning of her work from a personal stance to a collective and cultural dimension

Touria El Glaoui is the Founding Director of 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair, which takes place biannually in London and New York. In 2016, Touria El Glaoui was listed amongst the 100 most powerful women in Africa by Forbes

Yinka Shonibare was born in London in 1962 and grew up in the UK and Nigeria. Working in painting, sculpture, photography, film and installation, Shonibare’s work examines race, class and the construction of cultural identity. In 2004 he was nominated for the Turner Prize, in 2010 his first public art commission, Nelson's Ship in a Bottle opened on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square.
