The second Elegant Decadence of 2017 is a great thing in a small package. We have the fantastic Rhombus headlining and support from La Chanson Noire all the way from Portugal. We're just running to 11 this time without DJs after to avoid clashing with other events around London, but tickets are just £5 in advance and £7 on the door.

Rhombus are one of the finest Goth Rock bands to emerge from the North of England in many years.

Mixing male and female vocals with swirling guitars, driving bass with powerful drums and electric violin, they combine some of the best elements of traditional 80s/90s UK Goth, with their own modern, upbeat approach.

In addition to their studio indulgences, Rhombus have cultivated an exceptional reputation for their live performance, winning over audiences and powering the party, whether it be in an intimate club venue or from a festival stage.

La Chanson Noire is a musical manifesto created in 2007 by Charles Sangnoir. After two eps and a 7'' single, 2010 brought fowards “Musica para os mortos”, La Chanson Noire’s debut album, ensued by 'Cabaret Portugal' a tremendous cadavre exquis featuring 13 authors, 15 photographers, 2 designers and 1 film maker. In 2013, 'Macumba Stereo' was released, and 2016 was the year for 'Evergloom', perhaps the most bleak album of the band's career. This tour celebrats 10 years of existence for a band mixing humour with dark cabaret.
