About Eltham After the Courtaulds
Eltham Palace has an extensive history and is probably best known for being home to the boy Henry VIII and later to the Courtauld family. However, Eltham after the Courtaulds 2008 exhibition concentrates on a 40 year period of time when the palace was a home to the Royal Army Education Corps (RAEC).
A combination of medieval royalty and Art Deco style, Eltham Palace is a masterpiece of twentieth-century design and the new Eltham after the Courtaulds 2008 exhibition presents it in a new light offering an invaluable insight into this important period of post-war history.
