Just in time for Easter shopping, a new Chocolate Festival will be held at Southbank Centre from Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th April. This is the first festival of its kind in London and will feature the best chocolatiers and chocolate companies in the country, including William Curley who has been awarded Best British Chocolatier for the third year in succession by The Academy of Chocolate.

The Festival will consist of dozens of stalls, all of which will individually focus on one area of the delicious world of chocolate, whether it is making it, drinking it, shaping it or eating it. Including Choc Chick, selling kits to make raw chocolate at home, hot chocolate to slurp down from Choc Star & Ooh La La, and even chocolate infused savoury treats from Santa Fe Mexican food.

This three-day free event includes a range of workshops and demonstrations, where visitors will get the chance to make chocolate truffles from raw cocoa, watch master chocolatiers, such as Damian Allsop, in action, taste Paul Wayne Gregory’s award winning coconut and passion fruit bonbons; learn about the health benefits of chocolate with Healthy Chocolate UK and learn how to include chocolate in savoury dishes with Artistry in Cocoa. Attendees can also browse an array of tempting chocolate books and meet the authors at signings.

If you are a chocoholic, or you know someone that is, then you cannot afford to miss this event, and snap up some Easter treats into the bargain!
