Sienna Miller, Brigitte Bardot, Madonna and Princess Diana will rub shoulders with ordinary women in this stunning collaboration between the Getty Images Gallery and the legendary French liqueur, Cointreau.

Whether black and white or colour, each photograph is a visual celebration of what it means to “Be Cointreauversial” – capturing a mood and strength of spirit that is stylish, original and timeless. Besides famous faces from today and yesterday, inspirational shots of everyday individual, yet equally charismatic, women will be displayed.

From classic early 20th century photographs to contemporary moments, every woman overflows with confidence and joie de vivre before the lens, whilst also revealing a warm and sensual side.

Images range from a playful Audrey Hepburn relaxing on set and Elizabeth Taylor sipping a drink at Jersey airport, to fashion icon Sienna Miller clutching a cocktail after her London stage début.

This exhibition presents a new take on our modern-day infatuation with celebrities. While many of the individuals pictured are famous, their celebrity status is almost superfluous to the photographs: what is interesting is the way the subjects express themselves. This is what marks them out as timeless and iconic.”
