The Border Surrender

The Ryan O'Reilly Band
Ranging from the top end of Americana through to highlights of Irish folk, Ryan O'Reilly and his cohorts are making serious waves on the underground blues/folk scene. The cohesion of the songs and the musicianship between the five phenomenally talented members is a wonder to behold. If you could imagine The Pogues slow dancing with Solomon Burke to the beat of a Dylan drum you might be getting close to what this highly promising youngster and his outfit bring to the table.
"Evocatively sublime and effortlessly bewitching. O'Reilly has a passionate and characterful voice, Celtic fire, faltering heartbreak and the commanding stage presence of a young matador. If he could bottle it he would make his fortune" – Rock'n'Reel.

Spindle & Wit
An incredibly gifted young five-piece whose live shows have been creating a stir in the music industry. Formed barely a year ago, the London folk-pop noiseniks were immediately picked up by The Fly magazine as ‘Ones To Watch’, and they’ve been showered with music media praise. They have searing originality, gritty and intelligent lyrics which belie their tender years, foot-stomping hits and moving ballads, as well as violins, banjos, cellos, guitars, drums and buckets of charisma. 2010 is certain to be their year.
"The timing's perfect; hot on the heels of Noah & The Whale's success last summer, the baton's ready for Spindle & Wit to take over the commercial folk crown” - Big City Redneck.

Plus DJ sets from the Bloody Awful Poetry DJs That Perfect Fumble, This Handsome Devil and Micky Blue plus guest DJ Henry Brill: spinning the best in New Indie, Electro, Retro and Hip Hop.
"One of London's top indie nights" - The Guardian Guide.
