For anyone even remotely interested in current affairs, politics, and lively debate, the first Wednesday events at the Frontline Club can easily become an addiction. I know of nowhere else where it is possible to hear people actually connected with important events talk, and where it is possible to ask them direct questions. The events are moderated with great skill and good humour by Paddy O'Connell.
One word of advice - if you're going to ask something, keep it short and to the point, and ask *one* question. Far too many people waffle on and on - do it for too long, and Paddy will firmly but kindly shut you up.
