Exhibition of multicoloured madness

Sprout brings an exhibition of multicoloured madness! Creating dry flour paste ‘walls’ Sofia makes hundreds of sections, which then give her the opportunity to mix and use as many colours as her imagination will allow.

This vibrant exhibition features a mix of paintings looking at patterns, landscapes, and even text. While working with this batik technique for over a year, Sofia has also begun mixing found images with her batiks, to create a variety of collage/mixed media pieces simply bursting with colour. Prepare to be dazzled as this exhibition marks a colourful start to summer in Furzedown.
