This November, Campfire welcomes creative powerhouse, Hamish
Jenkinson. Producer of some of London’s most prestigious and
ambitious cultural events in recent years, he has a bulging address
book that’s the envy of us lesser mortals.
Involved with the Young Vic from the age of 16, Hamish has assisted
a number of A-list celebrities, spending four years with Guy Ritchie
and Madonna, as well as Kevin Spacey. He’s also created awardwinning
music videos and these days heads up the Old Vic Tunnels
as Creative Director.

This cutting-edge and highly coveted space under Waterloo Station,
which has staged a Banksy exhibition and even a Michelin star popup
restaurant, is just the latest initiative of Hamish with the support
of the Old Vic Theatre.

How he also finds time to devote himself to charity work, recently
becoming the Chairman of Free the Children UK, we can only wonder.
Come hear his amazing life story and have a drink and a bite to
eat on us. Watch Hamish’s pre-Campfire interview here.

On the ditto doors, the War Boutique will blow your mind with artwork
from former textile designer Kevin Leahy, who after working
for the war industry for several years, decided to use ballistic military material to make his artwork.

When the project started in 2003, local artists from Peckham were
involved in the recycling process to turn the final product into a message of peace. The project has collaborated with the likes of John
Maybury, Adrian Brody, Gieves & Hawkes, Maharishi, Sarah Lucas,
Banksy, and Vivienne Westwood, (Active Resistance to Propaganda).
