This year, John Lewis has partnered with the National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI) to revive the treasured national Christmas ritual of previous generations - Stir Up Sunday, focusing on everything from how to make a traditional Christmas cake and prepare your mincemeat, to a revival of the Great British Christmas Pudding recipe from the WI. The John Lewis Stir Up Sunday campaign focuses on families coming together to cook and get in the mood for Christmas. The free, hour-long class gives experienced and amateur cooks alike the opportunity to master the art of creating the perfect pudding for Stir Up Sunday. This Saturday, Anne Harrison, Vice President of WI, previous Celebrity Masterchef judge will be leading a Stir Up Sunday Masterclass alongside John Lewis chef Mark Sargeant.
Location: ’The Place to Eat’, John Lewis Stratford. Time: 11am. Price: FREE.
