Knitty Gritty

If you’ve ever wanted to learn to knit or are a seasoned knitter looking to expand your skills or brush up on old ones we’ve got a course for you this New Year at the Wallace Collection. Beginners will learn to knit the basics such as scarves and baby booties while getting inspiration for colours and textures from paintings and objects throughout the museum. Intermediate students will learn more advanced techniques and work from custom-made patterns based on Wallace Collection objects. Each course lasts four weeks and is led by Aneeta Patel, author of the bestselling book Knitty Gritty: Knitting for the Absolute Beginner.
