Anyone who has played Cut The Rope on their mobile phone will know that it’s great fun and wonderfully addictive. To celebrate the launch of the game in Internet Explorer 9, a free 3D art installation is going to be on display at London’s Spitalfields Market this weekend.
Designed by artists ‘Nick and Rich’ from Street Advertising Services who hold the current world record for the largest 3D picture, fans can jump into the game and have their photo taken with Om Nom, the curious green monster and star of the Cut The Rope game. All photographs will be available from the UK Internet Explorer Facebook page for free so your wacky pictures can be shared instantly with friends and family.
If you can’t wait until the weekend, you can play the game here: www.cuttherope.ie. The concept is simple: use your mouse to manipulate ropes, airbags and bubbles to feed candy to the little green monster, Om Nom, and collect stars along the way for more points. If you pin the game to your Windows 7 task bar, you can unlock seven new, previously unseen levels of the game. :-)
At the same time, Internet Explorer 9 is also launching an competition called ‘Om Nom On The Road’. Simply snap a pic of Om Nom in a real life setting, upload to the UK Internet Explorer Facebook page and the best photos will be selected for a chance to win the latest Windows 7 laptops.
