We are HomoElectric and we cordially invite you to our back street diskotekka: a hodge podge mix of dandies, misfits and losers.

We were born in Mancunia, a far off rainy vortex somewhere up north, with a DIY ethos we stole from punk, and a message of love we stole from disco.

Late last year we gave birth to an illegitimate offspring somewhere in the East End of London. It lives at The Shacklewell Arms in Dalston, and comes out to play every other month.

Come aboard our voyage into the night. We don’t care who you are, what you look like or who you sleep with, just be nice. Dance. Drink. Roll around on the floor. French kiss a stranger. Participate. Don’t participate. Be a voyeur if that’s you’re thing, we won’t tell anyone.

A soundtrack of sleazy beats and peak time bleeps will be crafted by our merry band of selectors.

NB: Our London comrades have been plentiful and we reach capacity very quickly. We would advise you to get down early to avoid disappointment. The Shacklewell Arms bar is open from 8pm, the dancehall opens at 10pm.
