Join us at Jump Jive and Shout the lively, fun friendly jive night, with dj vinyl queen Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the very best in red hot, pulsating, energy driven 1940s and 50s rhythm n blues, jump jive, boogie woogie, vocal harmony (doo wop)groups, blues shouters and more. All on vinyl the way it was back then and not a CD in sight.

Celebrating the wonderful, dynamic music from some of the great unsung originators who laid the foundation for what would eventually become known as “rock n roll”: Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Little Richard, Ruth Brown, Cab Calloway, Lucky Millinder, Ike Turner, The Chords and others. If you've seen the films Cadillac Records, Honey Dripper, or Ray you will know the story. Its that swinging, pulsating beat that gets you moving every time.
