Amaral’s distinctive sound comes from the connection between spectacular vocalist Eva Amaral and guitarist Juan Aguirre who have been composing together since the nineties. Their style of pop rock is fused with Latin beats= and complex poetic lyrics and draws from melodic Spanish folk traditions.

They have sold two million records and twice won the award for best Spanish group in the MTV Europe Awards. In 2010 the Spanish Ministry of Culture granted them The National Prize for Contemporary Music and at the end of 2011 they won song of the year in The Rolling Stone Spain awards for the title track of their last album Hacia lo Salvaje – Entering the Wild. A rare chance for London audiences to catch them.

Support comes from the upbeat, energetic and melodic Sala and The Strange Sounds + DJs

No booking fee when purchasing tickets with cash from The Jazz Cafe (Mon – Sat 10.30am – 5.30pm, show days only)
