WOW - Women of the World Festival 2012 is a celebration of the formidable strength and inventiveness of women, running 7-11 March. WOW includes lively talks and debates about politics, the arts, economics, fashion, science, health, sport and big ideas. Take part in mentoring and workshops and hear from celebrities, politicians, artists and activists on the topics that matter to women worldwide. Speakers will include Susie Orbach, Shami Chakrabarti, Kids Company founder Camila Batmanghelidjh, Mumsnet co-founder Justine Roberts, journalists Rosie Boycott and Eva Wiseman, Lynne Franks, Bidisha and Dr Kiran Bedi, India’s first and highest-ranking female police officer.

Evening highlights (ticketed separately) include comedy from Sandi Toksvig; film with Birds Eye View Sound and Silents; and music from Sinead O’Connor and Equals Live 2012, which will be hosted by Annie Lennox. We are thrilled to confirm that Katy B, Jess Mills and Emeli Sandé join Annie on stage to support and champion Equals.
