Deep'Art Showcase with Puente & Rosch

What a great start to 2012 we have had. Our first party of the year was off the hook. It was filled with the perfect soundtrack, good vibes and a great crowd. DEEP’ART have started as they mean to go on and the next instalment is one that they are very excited about.

When thinking about the write up for this it was tempting to just list the acts for the night because a) it would have saved 30 minutes but b) it speaks for itself.

The massive Puente and Rosch are so influential at the moment and this is backed up by their releases on No. 19 Music, Sultry Vibes and especially ‘This Feeling’ on Lower East which was a huge track last year. Their sound is influenced by a joint love of late 80’s electronic music, taking a mix of West Coast hip-hop vocals, monster bass lines,... breaks, and R & B; transforming it into their own forward thinking, funky and individual house sound. This saw Soul Clap feature ‘Serious Compassion’ in their Social Experiment Mix CD. The duo’s DJ Sets predominantly feature their own and their friend’s productions complimented by a blend of their own exceptional mixing styles to create a truly flowing performance.

Support on the night comes from our friends Playset who our regulars will remember playing an outstanding set at our October party. We have been eager to have them back since and can’t wait to see them rock the dance floor again. Both Ash and Tom are working hard in the studio at the moment at you will now doubt of heard Ash’s recent efforts on Hot Waves and soon Electronique, which have been played across the world and even at the mecca that is DC10.

As always DEEP’ART will get things going and set the tone for another big night in the capital.
