Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix

The Bahrain Grand Prix is the first Formula 1 race of the season broadcast at the respectable time of 1pm. No excuse for not getting up for this one, and we have plenty food and drink for you to get excited about.

We are trying out two Bahraini street food dishes we hope will revolutionize they way you think about middle eastern cuisine. For the ultimate on-the-go meal get stuck into a Shawarma. Also known as the middle eastern taco, this excellent wrap is available with lamb or pork. It comes with loads of spices all tucked into a fresh flat roll.

Next the kitchen crew have Samboosas on the menu. Choose from either minced lamb or vegetarian, the Samboosa triangle is seriously moorish.

On the starting line for drink we have outstanding mocktails including a Passionfruit Mojito, Virgin Colada and a Very Berry Martini. Our Greedy Garuda smoothie hits the spot for those getting fit for Summer, and Budvar Non-alcoholic beer is in the fridge for those getting behind the wheel.

Last, but by no means least, our specialist beers are available to slake your thirst. Steinlager Pure is great with spicy dishes whilst the American craft ale Fordham Copperhead is an ale drinkers dream. And for something a little different, why not try the Mexican ale Red Pig. Órale!!
