‘SINS’

A collection of paintings, collage and installation by Kim O’Neil. Modern incarnations of mortal sins are depicted through the medium of gigantic hand painted monuments. The artwork provides a commentary of our society and a critique of the fabrication that is our modern existence, whilst echoing the original seven deadly sins. The subject matter is derived from fragments of journals, topical ephemera and other paper minutiae that if not augmented by her art would generally go unnoticed.
