TRAGEDY IN LEICESTER SQUARE

LONDON, UK, April 25, 2012 – Stand Up Tragedy is a new monthly part cabaret, part variety show at Leicester Square Theatre, 6 Leicester Place, London, WC2H 7BX. Brought to you by Sony Radio Award nominated writer, musician and performer Dave Pickering. This monthly show features performances by Alison Thea-Skot ("An absolute tour-de-force" BBC Comedy), BBC Introducing’s Anton Frank, Tony Hickson from EastEnders.

The full bill includes BBC Introducing hotly tipped Anton Frank, Tania Hershman author of “The White Road and Other Stories”), Alison Thea-Skot ("An absolute tour-de-force" BBC Comedy), Ben Target (Winner of Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2011), Tony Hickson (EastEnders), The Twisted Twins, James McKay, Vanessa Gebbie, Jenny Adamthwaite and Louise Adams, John Kears and Nathalie Hourihan.

The live show will be recorded and released as a free weekly podcast at standuptragedy.co.uk and through iTunes.
