Down for the Count are a 9-piece jazz, swing, Rat Pack, soul and Motown band who originally formed in Buckinghamshire and are now based in Crouch End.
On Friday 4th May, the band will be hosting one of their regular 'Live' concerts at the Crouch End Music Palace for friends, family, future clients and the general public to come and see the band perform. This vibrant music hall in North London is the perfect setting for an entire evening of live jazz, swing, jump jive, soul and Motown music. The band will be performing songs from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse and many more.
For just £4, guests can sit back and enjoy a fantastic evening of live music, or get up on the dancefloor for an unforgettable night.
This concert follows the band’s hugely successful debut Music Palace performance in February 2012, which was attended by well over 100 people. The concert also marks the opening day of The Crouch End Arts Festival – a unique celebration of the artistic diversity of London’s ‘creative village’.
