Westfield Stratford City will celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with an unmissable schedule of events and activities running from 26th May to the 5th June. WHAT’S ON…

Street performers
Starting early, the Jubilee celebrations begin on Saturday 26th with ukulele bands, street performers, singers and jazz musicians entertaining the crowds at Stratford Place. The sounds of celebration start from the gateway to the centre, where the bandstand will have a series of musical performances every day until 5th June.

A Summers Garden Party
On the 28th and 29th May , The Gallery Space in the heart of Westfield Stratford City will be transformed into a traditional English summer Garden Party, complete with an English tea service, cakes and treats from Tinderbox and Waitrose. For every girl who dreams of becoming a ‘Queen for a Day’, the dream turns to reality here with complimentary pampering from Dermologica ,the finest dinner party setting from John Lewis, as well as a dressing up box and photo booth creating a personalised memento in royal regalia. For those looking for the perfect tea party outfit, giant glass cubes will be filled with Jubilee-themed products; all available to purchase from stores in the centre, including Accessorize, Jaeger and Basler.

Street Party
From 2nd – 5th June soak up the sun and saunter down The Street to Four Dials for a Street Party like no other! Grassed over for an authentic festival theme, Four Dials will play host to on-the-hour performances from the likes of Hackney saxophonists, jugglers, street artists, singers and dance groups, whilst The Street’s retailers will be spilling out of their doors to entertain revellers with barbecues, complimentary tastings, gifts and offers. For the young at heart giant versions of the games Jenga, Connect 4 and Kerplunk will provide childish entertainment for the merrymakers. Relax at Chestnut Plaza and stretch out on the newly laid grass, or watch the jubilee procession from the gigantic screen whilst enjoying tasty treats from The Real Greek and Wahaca, or for a true taste of summer, pop by Cabana for a Brazilian style barbecue.

Crafty Kids

Peppa Pig Appears
Children’s favourite sassy pig, Peppa, will be meeting and greeting all of her biggest fans between 11am and 4pm on Thursday 7th June. Kids can also go to Playworld in the World Food Court on the day to enter a colouring competition and win a Peppa Pig prize!
