About the event : 'We are 12 performance innovators who are joined together by our commitment to interrogating the play between thinking and doing. Through this tension new work emerges into something that may just tip us over the edge. The Brink.'
Brink celebrates one year of independent postgraduate research, as part of the MA in Performance Practices and Research at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Over a week in June, Brink will host a myriad of works that challenges and provokes current ideas and questions around theatre, performance and visual art.
The festival promises exciting new works from emerging performance innovators on the Brink of disciplinarity. The program delivers installation, site-specific, as well as studio based encounters. Brink reveals new methods of practice and is proud to present practitioners from around the world.
